Abby Zweifel has been a full time freelance illustrator and surface pattern designer since 2012. Before starting her own design studio Pomelo & Pomelo, she has worked as an in-house artist at two major retailers and has extensive knowledge involving color, trend, production cycles and preparing artwork for manufacturing. Her large surface pattern collection is now represented by The Brooklyn Nest.
Abby is a native Floridian and still resides in Southwest Florida with her husband, Ben. They are both cocktail enthusiasts, an interest that came about from all their travels to NYC. It started out as a quest to make a better drink than a local chain restaurant, morphed into a hobby in home bartending and cocktail education.
When the weather cooperates, Abby loves to row, run and walk to her favorite coffee shops. She is also apart of the Rebel Legion, enjoys driving their Honda Civic Type R and baking.
